Welcome to PSG-Communications. I’m an experienced writer, editor and communications consultant specialising in publications and communication materials, writing for the online space and all other aspects of communications for the government, not-for-profit and business sectors.
Government
I work with government and government agencies to develop strategies for their initiatives and to improve the quality of their written communications. I provide clear, concise and consistent writing/editing for materials ranging from manuals through to high-level reports and publications. I also develop writing style guides and systems to ensure the production of communication materials runs smoothly and meets deadlines.
Business
I work with businesses from the corporate, education and creative sectors including agencies to develop, write and edit clever, creative and sharp copy for the online space: websites; blogs; articles and publications.
My strong promotional skills include media releases, alerts, social media campaigns, newsletters and EDMs to maximise the publicity of business projects and initiatives.
NFPs & NGOs
I work with the not-for-profit (NFP) and non-government organisation (NGO) sectors to best address selection criteria and to create effective grant applications, funding proposals and policy submissions. I transform complex information into plain English reports, communications /promotional materials and strategies. I also provide staff with advice on strategic communications, proactive/reactive media relations and general writing/editing.
